With its nautical blue-and-yellow paint scheme and sturdy construction, the Ocean Boat looks and feels like it was made for high-seas adventure. It comes with three Imaginext-style figures, each with their own outfit and scuba gear. The figures have rotatable arms and legs, and their hands are shaped to grasp numerous objects throughout the ship.
The ship is full of movable parts, giving the boat a realistic touch. Spin a dial on top, for instance, and the ship's doors will fling open. Rolling the ship along on a hard surface will spin the ship's propellers and satellite dishes in unison.
There is also an opening cargo hold with translucent doors, a life-saver launcher, a rotating crane for deploying the submarine, and more. The accessory submarine comes with spinning propellers and rotating arms. Unfortunately, the boat wasn't designed for water play. Although it might be tempting to take it in the pool or bathtub, it will probably capsize the moment you try to float it.
An Enjoyable and Educational Adventure
The boat also comes with four deep-sea animal figures: a king crab, an eel, a cuttlefish, and an anglerfish. Kids will enjoy learning about these fascinating creatures with their parents.

Great Toy for Imagination
My son LOVES this toy - we bought it about 2 months ago and he still plays with it every day. He loves all of the gadgets that came with it and is always making up scenarios for the boat. I love all of the Imaginext toys and would recommend them to anyone with a preschooler (my son is 4 and loves them).
Great large boat, best amazon purchase so far!
Got this boat and a few accesories to match. The boat is quite large and has many parts with it. The little men come with scuba gear and scary looking sea creatures, nets, etc. This one of the few toys my son plays with daily. My first imaginext purchase as well. Quality is great and parts are larger than playmobil, which tend to get lost quite fast. Very durable. I will be buying more Imaginext in the future! There are also alot of other smaller matching sets to buy. The price can add up, but for the boat alone I got a good value. The frustration free packaging just means take it out of the box and play, no annoying twist ties or things being tied down. it does come in an ugky brown cardboard box, not for gift giving! But it was for my son and he doesn't care.
Ocean Boat
My 6 year old son loves the ocean boat. He already had the Imaginext castle and pirate ship and he loves those so much that it influenced us to purchase the boat. These are his favorite toys!
Ahoy! Best boat ever.
For years now, I have been a dedicated Playmobil mom. I think Imaginext has put an end to that. Basically, they seem to have taken the Playmobil concept and improved on it, making the toys much easier for little hands to manipulate, and making them available at a much more reasonable price point. I really love that these toys aren't plastered with licensed characters, leaving the little men free to be whoever my children want them to be. I also love how sturdy the ocean boat is -- both my kids stand on it (including a stocky two-year-old and a hyper almost six-year-old) and it takes their abuse just fine. There are far fewer tiny pieces than Playmobil -- just enough to keep things interesting, and none of them are tiny enough to get vacuumed up or easily swallowed. Honestly, this is one of the best toys I have ever bought for my kids. They play with every single component every day, from the boat itself, to the guys and their gear, to the freaky sea monsters that came with the boat. (A random tip -- those little men fit really well on most die-cast toy motorcycles! My guys love to make them drive those things.)
Wonderful toy with lots of mini toys
My 4-year old son got this for Christmas and he LOVES it! It came with a bunch of sea animals, scuba diver, little submarine, and other things. He can play with this for hours and we are so happy that he got this! I was pleasantly surprised by how nice this is since I had never seen this before, but I shouldn't be surprised because Fisher Price's line of "Imaginext" toys are great! We have the Imaginext dragon castle and the batman castle and my son also loves playing with those as well. We highly recommend this toy and all of the Imaginext toys!
