The game Ghostheads have been waiting 25 years for!
And I'd add, the third sequel that we've been waiting for as well!)

In a nutshell, this game has the "feel" of being a Ghostbuster as perfect as I imagine it could be, short of being able to own a real unlicensed nuclear accelerator and go hunting for ghosts yourself!

The controls are good, just takes some practice to become a pro ghost-wrangler.

The graphics and voice acting are excellent! As most anyone should know by now, the entire cast returns (sans Rick Moranis and Sigourney Weaver), and it shows that Dan and Harold had a hand in the script. Everything from the humor, to the techno-speak feels like authentic "Ghostbusters."

If you couldn't tell it, this is coming from a long-time fan of Ghostbusters. For someone totally unfamiliar with the franchise, I'd think there could still be an enjoyable experience to be had - "shooters" are a dime a dozen, but a game with the mechanics of a paranormal 'pest-trapping' agency is something pretty unique.

Everything it should be!!
All of the original voices, a chance to be a Ghostbuster.... what else do you need? The game is fun, nostalgic, and even a little creepy at times. My only complaint would be that it's too short. But you can play it at three different skill levels and there are the XBOX Live options to keep the fun going. I don't how enjoyable this game would be for someone who isn't a Ghostbusters fan because I've loved the series since I was little and I definitely think it played a part in my positive experience. I'm pretty sure any fan would get a kick out of this game and it's priced to sell!!! In short: Pack yourself up, get a grip, come equipped, grab your proton pack off your back and have fun!!

Matt's Review
The Ghostbusters for the 360 and Playstation 3 are almost movie-like in their graphics and game play. The proton packs look real, and the characters look as close as they could with current technology in resembling the characters from the movies. For people who are wondering more about Evo Shandor from the first movie, the game goes into his story much more in depth here. You get to meet(and fight) some of the most influential people in Shandor's cult from the 1920s, like the Chairmen and the Spiderwitch, among other ghost.

The only thing I didn't like about the game was the A.I. When you go down, especially on the harder levels, the other ghostbusters might not come to your rescue in time before being taken down themselves.

AWESOME
This game was awesome. If you are a fan of the Ghostbusters movies this is a must have. Story written by the orignal writers the models look just like the actors who also lend their voices. Graphics were great looked just like the movies effects, even switching the gadgets on you backpack was highly detailed and had different animations. Game play was very fun and challenging at times, but always worth the time. Everything about the game was great, I would say a must buy for the PS3. I was not able to try multiplayer, I don't have the system connected to the internet.

The only complaint I have was that it seemed too short for me; I didn't want it to end.

Awesome game that I put off buying for WAY too long
I really wanted to buy this game when it was released, but didn't because of lukewarm reviews and a somewhat boring demo on PSN. I finally made the leap after the price drop, and WOW! What a game. The story is great. The dialogue is priceless. The gameplay is downright awesome. I really enjoyed the single player campaign, but the true fun is in the multiplayer coop challenges. I didn't even know this game had a multiplayer option when I bought it. Needless to say, I regret not buying this game when it came out. Not a mistake I plan to make again, if they decide to release a sequel.
