The best Nerf Gun

The longshot is the most accurate nerf gun made. Also the gun last for many year I have had my gun for about 6 years and it is still working great. If you are thinking of buying the longshot you should.

Pleased after headache
We could not put the toy together. I thought it was a bad part. We returned it at the local Target and they gave us a giftcard for Target. We went to another Target and they finally had it there (300 miles away-couldn't find it anywhere else near me). We had a problem putting that together. My sister finally came and jammed it really hard and it popped into place. I was afraid to do it that hard because it felt like it would break. Fortunately it didn't. Now we are all happy. After my son went through some heartbreak becasue we had to return the first one. The part that was difficult to put in place was the handle to the smaller gun that attaches to the front of it. You'll know what I'm talking about if you try to put it together.

A kids review
I have the yellow nerf longshot and without the barrel it is the PERFECT gun for a war because the kid now has an assault rifle (no barrel), a long rifle (recon barrel), and a sniper rifle (with regular barrel). I love this gun because it has high durability, good and accurate gun, and is the main rifle for good reasons.

Great Toy For Rambunctious Boys!
My son got this toy with his birthday money and to say the least I was somewhat skeptical about how long it would be before it would be broken. Not that he's tough on toys, but since "nothing is made the way it used to be". Well to my surprise, it is extremely durable and he's been playing with it for almost a year. Nothing has broken, nothing has needed to be fixed and other than a few lost darts (normal attrition), we've only had to pull out one dart that was mis-fed (put in backwards) and other than that it's been perfect. You can also easily take it apart to give you a shorter gun and a hand gun which is kind of fun. The gun has been taken apart and put together dozens and dozens of times with no issues. The gun has a nice scope for "sniper" shooting, but it isn't telescopic or anything so the use of it is somewhat negligible - but still cool to pretend as there are legs under the barrel to give you even more "sniper" action. The butt stock also extends in an out, but we didn't figure out what use that would really have.

I haven't read any of the other ratings, but it's hard for me to understand the 1- and 2-star ratings unless you either A) got one that was already broken and you want to complain about it or B) you have a hellion as a kid and he breaks everything. We also bought the adapter clip for his gun since the clip that comes with the gun only has 5 darts. Kind of skimpy, but the gun as a whole is well worth it. Because of his enjoyment of this particular Nerf gun, my son has bought three others all which he also thoroughly enjoys.

Nerf Longshot CS-6
I got this gun today,so this might noy be the best review. The nerf longshot CS-6 is a great edition the n-strike line. On Amazon it's $[...] for the yellow version and $[...] for the blue version. I got the yellow version because it looks cool.

good features: -has a built-in stand for sniping
-has a mini pistol on the barrel
-sight also for sniping
-stock doesn't come off, but is extendable and can hold an extra clip.

bad features: I haven't found any yet.
