This is the best mousepad you will buy. No, it doesn't have cushions for your wrist, yes, it takes up a lot of space, and for computer virgins it's a soft cloth mousepad, you won't understand it right away. Deal with it. This mousepad has served me outstandingly for more than two years and I can't ever see myself buying another mousepad, when this one finally goes I'm getting another QcK. If you've got a decent laser mouse (1200+ DPI, I'm using a Logitech G9) this mat will make your cursor roll across the screen like butter, and you'll find yourself snapping to exactly where you want to go soon. Whether you're a gamer or you want ease of access to your computer this is the mousepad for you. Buy it. Buy it right now, and buy some for all your friends. People will remember you for buying this mousepad. When you die, they will make statues in your name.
Mousepad is great for gaming
Being a competitive TF2 (Team Fortress 2) player, I needed a larger mousepad.
Decided to order this, as my sensitivity is rather high so I do not need a huge mousepad that other players may require, but it is still bigger than your average pad. The sizes are given, so plan accordingly.
For 10 bucks, its worth it, it is really smooth, I use an MX Revolution (I got it before I started TF2) and registers it really well, and can flick and track to my heart's desire. It is quite thin, nothing too comfortable nor uncomfortable.
So after all this, why didn't I give it 5 stars? The packaging. It's rolled up. There are other reviews that describe some ways to completely flatten it, I have not tried it. It sucks that it's there, but it doesn't exactly hinder your mouse movement, because usually in combination with the pressure and the weight of the mouse you place on it, along with the relative thinness of the pad.
So yeah, looking for a cheap mousepad? Get this.
Excellent Pad!!
This pad has four things going for it:
1. It is huge! You will never have to worry about picking up the mouse and moving it because you run out of pad.
2. I let the edge of the pad hang over the glass top of my desk by about a half inch and it works as a pad for my wrist on the edge. The soft material is great as a wrist rest.
3. I have not run into any tracking, curling, wrinkling, or slipping problems while playing games or doing anything else.
4. If you have a neoprene allergy or sensitive skin this pad is great. I have had reactions to cheap neoprene pads within a few minutes of use. After having this pad for nearly a week I've had no reaction at all.
I strongly recommend this pad to anyone.
This extra large mouse pad works great with my new Apple wireless mouse. I really like it! Glad I bought it and a very reasonable price!
I bought a new keyboard and mouse – the Logitech MX3200. The mouse in that package is the Logitech MX 600 laser mouse. On my wood desk the laser mouse jumps all over the place. My previous mouse worked just fine without a mouse pad on my wood desk. I am guessing there is too much reflection from the somewhat shiny wood surface for a laser. With this mouse pad it tracks better, but still jumps around quite a bit. If you have a laser mouse I would not get this mouse pad. I bought a hard surface mouse pad and now the laser mouse tracks just fine.
