the Night Before St Patrick's Day
This is a great book for preschoolers. We use it in the classroom curriculum for a fun St. Patrick's day unit, with a surprise visit from a leprechaun. Lots of fun. The author has a variety of books with the same "night before" theme, easy to read and enjoyable for the kiddies.

St Patrick's Day book
This is another in the Night Before ... series. This is a nice addition to the series. It follows like the others and the illustrations are great.

St.Patrick's Day book
My kids love this story. I have to read it over and over around St. Patrick's Day.

my favorite St. Patrick's Day book!
After buying 3 books for St. Patrick's Day at once, this one was my fave.
Pros: cute pictures, lots of visual detail, hidden leprechauns in pictures which are fun for kids to find, familiar rhythm, uncomplicated language, rhyming words, clear story line, characters and settings, great length of text per page and length of story for younger children, leprechaun traps which lend themselves well to extension activities
Cons: Not really a "con", but the "trick" at the end of the story was difficult for my younger students to understand.

Fun Little Book
I bought this book to read to my grandchildren for a "Nana's Leprechaun Camp". Not only did the illustrations and story capture their attention but because I read it before hand, it gave me great ideas on activities to have at my Nana's camp. We set traps and the leprechauns caused all kinds of mischief during the day.
